Dark Wooden Bonito Shaver

A must have tool for making katsuobushi, the shaved flakes of dried bonito fish essential to creating dashi and thousands of Japanese dishes. Working like a carpenters plane, the shaver has a sturdy natural wood construction and drawer to store the shavings. The blade can be removed, is adjustable and can be sharpened if it becomes dull.
