Tessa Black Bowl 10"
Description
Our Tessa Black Bowl 10" offers a wider bowl with rims that shoot out to the side, offering more room to serve and plate. The graphite black color and conical shape offer the guest a bowl that draws the eye to whatever has been plated within.
Purpose: For main course soups, entrees, items such as noodles or pasta, some desserts, and tasting menus.
About Tessa Glaze
Tessa glaze is prized for its naturally varied appearance. Because the glaze contains iron, subtle differences in kiln temperature and firing conditions create natural variations in color, texture, and sheen. These characteristics are celebrated in Japanese ceramics as yohen (kiln transformation) and are considered a hallmark of handcrafted pottery rather than a defect.
The result is a finish with depth and character that beautifully enhances food presentation while helping minimize the appearance of utensil marks over time. Combining durability with a refined handcrafted look, Tessa is well suited for everyday restaurant use.
