These beautiful cutting board are crafted by Japanese artisan using 300 year old hinoki wood. The beautiful pale pink wood is delicate on knives, and helps prolong the edge retention. Hinoki wood contains essential oils and phyoncide which has a strong antibacterial effect. This helps prevent mold and bacteria growth.
