This attractive and durable oval Ishiyaki stone is a unique tool and presentation device for restaurants.
To use, first heat the stone either on direct heat or in the oven, then bring to the table and place on a heat-proof plate. The stone will stay hot for a few minutes, and it is particularly great for cooking things like tuna and Wagyu beef at the table either for guests, or they can participate too!
