Hagi Sudare Decoration - Medium

These rustic but incredibly elegant and sophisticated sudare make anything served on them a special occasion. These hagi (lespedeza in Japanese) make a beautiful blank canvas for the presentation of anything from sushi to (as seen in the photo) clams or shellfish to other small bites or amuse bouche. Line the sudare with bamboo leaves, nori or other natural underliners for easier cleanup.
